General Information

All of the gear setups posted can be upgraded or downgraded based on your budget and comfort level.

We recommend only bringing 3 protected items (without Protect Item active). Only bring a 4th valuable item if you're willing to lose it. Your Voidwaker piece drop may also not be protected if you have 4 items already.

⚠️ Before You Enter the Wilderness ⚠️

Skull prevention
Copy these settings

PK Skull Prevention should be ON at all times.

We highly recommend setting your Player Attack Options to Right Click for clan members to help prevent accidental misclicks.

The Wilderness can get very busy, and we may need to hop between worlds to find an open boss. I'll be in Discord throughout the event, and I encourage everyone attending to join the voice channel.

You don't have to talk if you don't want to, but please make sure you can hear the callouts or watch the scout stream. There will be a stream of a scout outside of our world so everyone can stay informed about any incoming PKers.

Checkout your "Kept on death" screen as well. Make sure to enable "Wilderness beyond level 20" and "Killed by a player". DO NOT CHECK "Protect Item Prayer Enabled". You may think that you will always protect item, but you cannot guarantee that in multi. There ARE clans that you will rarely run into that spear you and ancient mace you down. There is very little counterplay. It is NOT worth it. Only bring 3 items, do not bring a +1. Your unique drop you get from the boss will be your +1.

On death setup
Don't bring a +1 to multi you can't afford to lose

Try to remember to ALWAYS close your looting back when you pick up a Unique drop from the boss! Items placed in looting bags ARE NOT PROTECTED.

🏃 Escape Caves 🏃

If PKers show up, your best chance of escaping is through the North-East exit of the Escape Caves.

This exit is closest to Singles, giving you the highest chance of getting away safely.

We recommend highlighting the cave entrance using RuneLite so you can always find it quickly.

SOUTH CAVE EXIT IS NOTORIOUS FOR BEING CAMPED BY CLANS WITH SPEARS AND MACES IT IS THE MOST DANGEROUS EXIT (and closest to the 30 line, which is why most run to it)

🔌 Recommended Plugins 🔌

Wilderness Player Alarm (Optional) Flashes your screen whenever a player not on your friends list or in the clan chat appears nearby.

Wilderness Multi Lines (Highly Recommended) Shows exactly where Multi and Singles begin and end, making it much easier to position safely.

🐻 Callisto 🐻

Callisto is our larger team boss. Since only the top 10 damage dealers receive loot, if we have more than 10 people attending we'll split into balanced teams based on size and experience.

We'll have a few experienced helpers leading groups, and they'll also be streaming scouts for their teams.

For the fight itself, we'll be bringing freezes to help control the boss. If you're maging, backup freezes are always appreciated.

Simply pray Ranged throughout the fight. If Callisto targets you with a Magic attack, quickly switch to Protect from Magic until the attack lands, then swap back to Protect from Missiles.

If you miss the prayer flick, or stand directly beside someone targeted by the Magic attack without praying Magic, you can take up to 50 damage.

Bolt Rag w/ Rune Crossbow

Bolt Rag

This setup is designed to provide strong DPS against the boss while still giving you the ability to fight back against PKers. Remember to keep PK Skull Prevention enabled, and only retaliate after you've been attacked first. If you only care about hitting callisto, bring Ruby bolts (e). If you only care about bolting pkers back, bring dragonfire or diamond bolts (e). Both? Bring a swap. Don't bring more then you are willing to lose!

On Task

Callisto On Task

This is our recommended setup if you're assigned as the freezer, or if you're killing Callisto while on a Slayer task. It provides excellent Magic accuracy for consistent freezes while still maintaining strong DPS on the boss, making it one of the most effective all-around setups for the encounter.

SKULL UP WITH THE BOYS

SKULL UP
Skull up and fight back!!!

What's the BEST way to escape from a PKer?

KILL THEM.

Sometimes we will all SKULL up and instantly bolt any poor unsuspecting PKers that hop into OUR cave. You can downgrade any of the gear seen here, because you will likely lose everything!

My +1 is the Arkan blade which is a very strong budget wilderness spec weapon, and can be reclaimed for 250k if you lose it. You can bring dds instead, or nothing. Bring vengeance so they hurt themselves if they fight back. If you ever are freezing during this, use single target spells like blitz to avoid freezing your clanmates! If you turn on wilderness keys, you can loot the keys you claim on a main account by killing your ironman before looking inside of the keys. Check out Perdu for lots of reclaimable/buybackable gear at Ferox Enclave!

☠️ Vet'ion ☠️

Vet'ion is by far the easiest of the three Wilderness bosses.

Teams will be capped at 4 players, and we'll split everyone into balanced groups.

During the fight, simply avoid standing on or directly adjacent to lightning strikes.

At roughly 50% health during each phase, Vet'ion summons skeletal dogs. The number of dogs scales with team size, which is why we keep groups small.

Kill the dogs, return to the boss, then repeat during the second phase. When Vet'ion prepares his large lightning attack, either stand directly underneath him or move away to avoid the damage.

Vet'ion Setup

Vetion

This is our recommended setup for Vet'ion. It provides strong DPS while keeping your risk relatively low, making it a reliable choice whether you're new to the boss or have plenty of experience.

🕷️ Venenatis 🕷️

Like Vet'ion, Venenatis teams will also be capped at 4 players to keep the fight manageable.

At the start of each fight, Venenatis summons spiderlings. Kill these as quickly as possible, as they increase the damage you take while reducing the damage dealt to the boss.

The boss moves every 4 auto attacks.

After the first two phases, Venenatis enters the Web Phase. On the third auto attack, she'll fire a web that covers part of the arena, draining both Prayer and Run Energy while dealing chip damage.

To minimize this, position yourself near the edge of the arena so the web covers as little space as possible.

After the fourth phase, more spiderlings will spawn, and the cycle repeats.

Venenatis Setup

Venenatis

This is our recommended setup for Venenatis. It offers strong DPS while keeping your risk relatively low, making it a dependable choice for handling the boss and clearing spiderlings efficiently.
